Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Surface Mounted Assembly (SMA) Technology Developer to research, develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe E2E SMA production, claims and repair processes, equipment and tools according to production rules .

Responsibilities:

  • Study and define requirements for product design, production process and equipment to make new PCBA processes feasible in Ericsson.
  • Lead or take part in global or local studies, pre-development (PRE-DEV), development (DEV) and process improvements.
  • Lead improvements of pre-development and development ways of working to ensure quality of work and common understanding of expectations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: at least Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas:
    • Engineering,
    • Production,
    • Technology,
    • Science.and/or
  • Min years of experience: at least 5 years in one the following areas:
    • Electronics Engineering,
    • PCBA Production,
    • SMT Technology,
    • Material Science.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experienced in Production flow simulations (e.g. Plant Sim, Arena),
  • Experienced in Electronics (PCB layout design, circuit design, manual soldering),
  • Experienced in Material Sciences (e.g. adhesives, thermal interface materials),
  • Fluent in English (C1-C2 or similar),
  • Experienced in IT (CompTIA A+ or similar),
  • Experienced in Excel (Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate or similar).
