Senior Android Native Developer

We're looking for a Senior Android Native Developer to join our team and take ownership of Android projects from concept to launch. Youll be working closely with product and design teams to build high-quality mobile experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android development and has successfully built and launched at least one app from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Lead the development of new features and improvements in existing apps.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

Key skills:

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proven experience building and launching Android applications from scratch.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and best practices.
• Experience with modern Android development tools (Jetpack, MVVM/MVI, Room, Retrofit, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with Firebase, GraphQL, or mobile analytics tools.
• Published apps on Google Play Store with a portfolio or links.
