Now we are looking for a Java Engineer to join our backend team to work on interesting projects related to web-based systems. This role is located in Tallinn, Estonia and we expect you to come to the office at least twice a week. Salary for this role will be 4000-5000/month gross.

YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining Java applications.
• Writing well-designed, efficient and testable code.
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing and debugging.

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF MUST-HAVES:

• MS or BS degree in computer science or information technology.
• Minimum of 2 years solid experience of Java development in the backend.
• Experience in developing web-based applications.
• Understanding of OOPs concepts and patterns.
• Familiar with Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Familiar with with MySQL and Linux.
• Understanding of Docker.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

TO TRULY EXCEL IN THE ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE NICE-TO-HAVES:

• Familiar with Kafka, experience in Kafka Stream or similar stream processing framework.
• Experience in ClickHouse or similar OLAP system.
